The Sierra Madre mountain range amazingly withstood and reduced the intensity of the super typhoon. Still, many villages were submerged in flood, and farms have been devastated.

This comes at the heels of Typhoon Tino (international name Kalmaegi) which killed over 220 people this month.

"Bagong Laro" means "New Play" in Tagalog, and when we brainstormed the first iteration of the event earlier this year, our agreement was "we play any game except D&D 5e".

So far every event has been full and we've been running unique systems each time!
