Current interests: Legend of Zelda (the wildly speculative/transformative side of things), Slay the Princess, my eclectic musical tastes, writing, reading, horror art & fiction, social justice.

Not a minor. Don’t follow me if you’re uncomfortable w/ that.
Now one of my favorite things to do is going for walks and IDing interesting wildflowers I don’t know the names of. I’m working on getting better at mushroom hunting, too, and last week I ended up spotting some tiny clusters of Yellow Fairy Cups on a rotting log!

My other favorite find that I forgot to mention is Chicory! They’re in the same family as dandelions, so they tend to pop up in places you’d find dandelions. This particularly determined specimen was pushing through a crack in the sidewalk.

Her pants are definitely tailored and fit her waist just fine. It’s just that they aren’t a skinny cut and flare a little at the leg, so they don’t conform to the shape of her thighs/calves and give her a more unisex silhouette. It’s a pretty typical style of workwear pants for women.

Also, I *love* the Princess. She is probably among my favorite character in anything ever. It speaks to the strength of the writing that there’s something to love in each of her many faces. Even when she’s antagonistic, conflict can always lead to growth and greater understanding.

This is the warrior in question, by the way. Her name’s Vega, after the star + the swooping eagle. Fitting for a DEX/INT build, plus I’m going to aim for Ranni’s ending my first playthrough.

Also, that one jackass livestreaming the containment procedure on the terrifying mystery box that cult was protecting, inadvertently dooming the entire audience. The further in you go, the more you indulge your curiosity about these things, the less likely it is that you’ll ever find your way back.

She’s not brave enough to outright rebel, but she allows herself these little pleasures when she can, even though she knows everyone would disapprove. Her friends seem to bond with her over it, hanging out with her at the store. Sakuko even has a kawaii aesthetic with her pink pigtail ribbons!

The Kashimashi also seems to evoke anxieties about weight based on beauty standards on top of resembling a woodland animal that was gutted upon slaughter. The sutures and the skin tags on their hips make them look like they had botched liposuctions.

Something I noticed from the new gameplay footage is that Silent Hill f’s healing items are specifically sweets. Also, Hinako reacts to trouble at home by leaving & heading to the general store to buy candy. I think these details give us some clues about Hinako as a character.

And then in the Crypt of the Necrodancer spinoff, Cadence of Hyrule, you get to see him as a child prodigy who not only taught himself how to play the organ but also built one from scratch using scrap metal that was lying around his room in the space of a few hours.

I’ve seen some websites recommend the Black Girl brand, although it’s oil-based, so while it’s great for dry skin it might risky for oily or acne-prone skin.

And what if a certain character, who is canonically a robot, got rebooted into being a Zonai construct who was a major figure in, if not the leader of, this rebellion?
July 31, 2025 at 9:54 PM
And we know from the stinger in the trailer that the Zonai also constructed robots with distinctly humanoid proportions, right?
July 31, 2025 at 9:50 PM
So, these ghostie-goos in the background of this one scene look sorta like Hylia’s robot helpers from Skyward Sword, right? And we know the Zonai did a similar thing where they constructed robot servants who they then abandoned to decay in the ruins of their civilization, right?

Do they not remember how many city-states Italy alone used to have?

I cycle through them a lot depending on time of year. My current favorites are Baby Blue Eyes and Foxgloves.

On that same trip, I saw a mama duck escorting exactly 12 ducklings across the street. Not sure if she’d adopted another duck’s babies or had a particularly abundant clutch, but either way I felt very lucky to see it!

I went for a walk at a botanical garden a few weekends ago and saw lots and lots of irises. They’re one of my favorite flowers because they have unique petal structure, are usually purplish, and smell really nice.

Take the fictional character quiz and post the first four you know: openpsychometrics.org/tests/charac...

…Huh. This feels weirdly accurate, even though I only know 2 of these 4 guys through Tumblr osmosis.

Clootie reenacting Cabanel’s “The Fallen Angel.”

Granted, the dangly chain detail on the clasp of his jewelry screams “I worked hard on these rhomboids, and by god you are going to look at them.” Alas, the writers forgot to show him onscreen as someone who’s a little vain and fussy about his appearance beyond mentioning it in an interview once.

I was lucky enough to see a wild mama mallard escorting her one dozen babies across the street today. Totally understandable why somebody would want to spend their days and nights with a similar bunch of little guys.

And the turquoise beads draped across the back! And how the light blue contrasts against the black of the suit’s fabric! They remind me of the gold chain detailing on that one Robert Wun dress I really love!

Who wants to see a bunch of boring flowers and trees, anyways? 🤪
