A golfing Wednesdayite who’s watched #SWFC when we’ve been good, bad and indifferent over 6 decades. #WAWAW
He does like rescuing lame ducks then shutting them down anyway once he’s pinched the best bits which wouldn’t be much in our case 😬

People who say that haven’t really got Wednesday in their blood. I’d watch them play on the slippery slope at Hallam if I had to. Hillsborough has had its time, we really do need somewhere that brings us on a par with virtually everyone else.

Or slightly better than Brentford away.

Good luck John, I will be there but the chance of us recognising each other is pretty slim 🤣. I’m actually supporting my mate who’s 76 and had a heart attack 18 months ago but hasn’t missed a PP. I told his wife I’d run with him to keep him safe! 🤞the weather is good for us

Which then sort of says it’s a license in name only. I honestly think it’s all to make it look like the government is doing something when in actual fact they can do so little except expedite the agreement to hand over to administrators.

Can’t see it working myself, it’s a NFL type concept which totally different to how football works. Which existing owner would sign up for it as each club is a business not a franchise.

Didn’t HP explain that we don’t have a dedicated penalty taker and whoever is the most confident takes it. McNeil obviously should have been the most confident.

Good decision, your scarf deserves your loyalty
November 29, 2025 at 6:43 PM
Give it as many chances as it needs until we win! It’s not the scarfs fault 😉
November 29, 2025 at 11:34 AM
It’s also the same players are asked to play week in week out with the same result. As good as Amass is we shouldn’t have to rely on a 20yo and 18yo still learning their trade in our defence. It has to be draining
November 24, 2025 at 5:35 PM
People are expecting him to play like Michael Smith and he should be playing alongside a Michael Smith. He’s virtually up there on his own, he would be better alongside Cadamarteri as he can bully the defenders, simply not Ugbos game and he will never gain confidence how he’s being played.
November 24, 2025 at 5:30 PM
Which is what footballs all about! Unfortunately our midfield would be severely weakened if you took Valery out of it but he didn’t seem to be doing his defensive job that well today which is what he has been doing so well and driving it forward.
November 23, 2025 at 10:23 PM
Not saying they do but the defence had 1 player who’s only played half a match for us, 1 x 18yo, 1 x 20yo, 1 who would never be first choice and wasn’t even last season and Max Lowe.
November 23, 2025 at 10:11 PM
He needs some help, he hasn’t even got enough coaches never mind players
November 23, 2025 at 9:42 PM
It’s not just thin, he’s not got players to fill every position never mind having 2 which is the norm. Reason we have no width is because we have no players that play wide except possibly young Harry but he’s 18 and can’t do everything. We have a 16yo sat on the bench. Utd bring on a £10m forward

And there is a chuffin river that floods that needs diverting. Chansiri wasn’t so wrong really
November 20, 2025 at 6:13 PM
All 4 sides would need demolishing to bring it up to modern standards and there simply isn’t the room to extend as it’s always been an issue how close houses are. Even the South’s development they crammed seats on existing terrace with no legroom and just covered the wood with metal
November 20, 2025 at 6:11 PM
You have to also remember the media are backing the right wing fascists so any chink in labours armour will be exploited They’ve totally brushed under the carpet what got us into this mess in the first place
November 12, 2025 at 2:01 PM
He seems to be getting better and better each game
November 5, 2025 at 10:35 PM
In one interview he did say it has to be the best complete package. I don’t think there is a price as such it is what they can bring beyond the price and how sustainable they can make us. At least that’s what the optimist inside me believed he said
November 2, 2025 at 1:58 PM
Thanks Paul I do get a little mixed up. So basically we can’t spend any money on players for 18 months but I’m presuming we can pay them whatever we like so long as the new owner proves funds
October 25, 2025 at 8:41 PM
Will a new owner be allowed to spend on players? I thought our embargo’s are for umpteen windows. I’m hoping I’m wrong but even if they can’t buy we could get good freebies and loans so long as there’s no wage restriction. We managed some good ones last time we were in L1
October 25, 2025 at 7:44 PM
I don’t think I’ve ever heard any manager talk with such passion and optimism about improving players and belief about the direction the club is now going in. No wonder the players will run through a brick wall for him as I would.
October 24, 2025 at 8:14 PM
To be quite honest that’s the most positive statement we’ve had out the club for a very long time.
October 24, 2025 at 12:28 PM
Derby would be better if we have to move. It’s not just about the bigger picture as there are viable alternatives, we could only share a ground if was not owned by either side as you couldn’t be in debt for life to your biggest rivals. Coventry had local grounds to choose but ended at Northampton
