Should December be a Major month?
If the Olympic Games is not to be considered, then the 5th Major must be played be played in Australia and be positioned in the calendar at an appropriate time when currently the PGA Tour of America and the DP World Tour are still active.

Ireland has more to offer the golfer other than the aforementioned (one of which I'm proud to say gainfully employed me as Golf Operations manager for a period of time.) There are a number of sleeping giants where the visitor will leave with a unique golfing memory only found in the Emerald Isle.

Preparing for a team building exercise with a group booked in for the pitch & putt here at Westport Golf Club. We are happy to offer a registration desk for our guests once they arrive in the Clubhouse. Our 9 hole family friendly course is a wonderful success and an important revenue stream in 2025.

The new association of PING with Westport Golf Club goes from strength to strength. In the blink of an eye, we find ourselves at the final qualifying round of the year on this crisp Autumnal morning. All roads will be leading to Westport on the shores of Clew Bay "where the back 9 is a page turner."

Miss, miss may we play golf? My column in the Connaught Telegraph - "I was a little surprised not to hear from any representatives of the PGA or the teacher unions in the press release, as from experience both groups would have to be cornerstones of any school golf coaching program."
