Well, I just tried my first ever snails from a Dollarama can.
The verdict; well... it's a flavor I can't say I've ever tried before, but the texture was like a mushroom, but the flavor was kinda... icky?
I'd love to try true restaurant snails, surely those would be much better.

Question; did ANYONE ever get this content in the Switch version of Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville? I've never seen footage or codes being sold anywhere. I'd sure love one and would pay a bit for it. It was a pre-order bonus only but yeah, nothing about it otherwise.

SO, I've just discovered that Famitsu Wave DVDs are a thing. DOZENS of them were released up til 2011. One I'm hoping to obtain is the Dec 2006 one that apparently has a section about the Wii Preview event from Sept 2006. That could be a lovely get depending on its contents.

Got an email notifying me that auto-dubbing will soon be added to my YouTube account (I've seen it already has for others). I saw it allowed me to turn that shit off so I did it without hesitation. I refuse to use generative AI in anything I do. If folks want to use it that's on them.

I know Oliver is working on a video but I've also played a bit and, man, this is insanely impressive. It's doing more than expected - cutbacks are there but, honestly, it's legit with a nice suite of RT features intact. Amazing work from Ubi here (it's also a solid game)

BTW, I actually found the HQ versions of all three Pikmin short movies. Problem is, while they uploaded to Internet Archive fine, they were outright BLOCKED from YouTube, so I decided to delete the uploads at IA just in case, as I didn't want to put my account in jeopardy. :/

Random thought; what happens if you water an apple tree with nothing but apple juice, and only fertilize it with rotting apples? Does that influence the apples in any way? Wonder if anyone ever tried that.

Update: I've got it mostly figured out. I've been doing segments in Avidemux, doing top and bottom field deinterlacing as needed for each, then MKVToolNix does stick them back together. But there's an issue with some bits I still need to iron out. Hopefully tomorrow or day after latest I'll be done.
Man I wish Avidemux was more versatile with being able to pick and choose where to deinterlace certain spots in videos, rather than all or nothing. I'd have to split the trailer into chunks as said, deinterlace each their own way, then glue them back together. MKVToolnix might work for this.
