The entire HR department at the CDC is gone. Everyone at the IRB, which makes sure studies are conducted ethically and rigorously, and the ethics office, which oversee conflicts of interest for CDC leaders and advisory committee members, were also let go.

The more Trump acts, the more unpopular he becomes. Political leaders w the power to stop his unlawful actions should do what’s right no matter what, but maybe this info will embolden them to act in the public’s interest.

The Dept. of Education is planning to propose, as early as this month, a new regulation that would streamline its ability to pull federal funding from colleges found to be in violation of civil rights laws.

This change would be alarming enough by itself, but paired with ACTS it's a real emergency.

Can’t get a Covid booster shot from a pharmacy in DC without bothering one’s doctor for a prescription. Even for folks 65 and older
Kennedy has insisted covid shots are still easy to obtain, claiming that @hassan.senate.gov was “making things up to scare people.”

But The Post talked to people who are struggling to get the vaccine. Elaine Cox, a 68-year-old with lung disease, said she wept after being denied a prescription.
