I love how you gave Felix armor that was similar to Saturos, which would make a lot of sense in context.

The yapfest is welcome! It was the point of this, so keep it up if you like. Question about Eva: when you say "non-adept" is this just because of no training but the abilities were there all along, or is your idea that anybody without any Psynergy at all could develop skills if a Djinn joined them?

I've actually got a small group of Dark Dawn OC's but I've only got art for two of them and one of those has to be redone, so here's the main one, Eva! She grew up in Imil, but she wasn't born there. Once she turned 13 or such, she started traveling solo across Weyard to study the elemental Djinn,

On the same day of the Thatcher joke, you post this and the image that comes to mind is Sheba using this quote about Babi. I promise political analysis is possible without Golden Sun related jokes and metaphors, but this context is just too perfect to not mention.

That quote has the potential to be horribly misinterpreted...

@floop249.bsky.social Please provide no context at all when you share this image with the woman you know who has the dog, and share what she thinks.

ohHO IM SO READY
Meifeng was born as Feizhi's daughter. She was born without her dad and did what she could to help her mom as her assistant. When Feizhi dies and leaves her legacy to Meifeng, she is overwhelmed and frustrated and runs away to chase down her father.

Sounds like a very fleshed out backstory here!
I don't know how she fits in with the Dark Dawn storyline and timing, and it may be kind of murky since we don't see Xian in Dark Dawn, but do you have any ideas how Meifeng would navigate that tense situation between Tonfon and Kaocho, & the Eclipse?

All I really have is my yumesona, who traveled the world all on her own until she met Garet, and it’s because of him that she starts to gain trust in people and opens up, and of course eventually falls in love with him.

I love the creative interpretation of the catch beads! It was puzzling trying to think how you would catch something flying at you while already holding a little sack of marbles.
Assuming that Adrian is an Earth adept?

You know what, why not!
This is Adrian, he had a chance meeting with Pewter (right) and Glare (left) before the Vale storm, and they’ve been traveling Weyard having various adventures together!
The green bracelet is how I imagine the Catch Beads look when equipped.

Way ahead of you!

Update: I think I may have misremembered. There were some dumplings in Passaj, but the cloud description may have been for something else at another oven in town. A pastry maybe?

You say this, coming off of an amazing piece. Your evaluation of your own work can be valuable, but please do not discount the awe that we feel as well.
And thank you for creating, of course!

The meals were taken a step further compared to Golden Sun (often empty or not descriptive) and Lost Age (more detailed dishes and comical observations).
Dark Dawn plays up regional flair with notes such as Passaj having dumplings resemble clouds. After the Ecplise, many ovens get a new, sad text.

Fun fact is that while this commercial was in no way related to the game it was advertising, in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, the sequel on the DS released in 2010, the dragon chandelier is an optional very short sidequest, becoming an attack you can acquire.

The regular noise, or the deeper roar that comes from the bigger monsters like in The Lost Age?
Also, in his mind the result was a "catastrophe" so safe to say what summon was used, right?

All I'll say is; you'd be surprised.
