Here’s my northern favorite, photographed last week up in the Yukon. Sparrows are so underappreciated! The White-crowned sparrow’s call is, in my opinion, the “song of the north”!

Wonderful! During Covid, we had a red squirrel move in, and stay. Every year, we’ve enjoyed babies. Here’s one of my favourite family shots from a previous year on their first day out to see the world!
