-if she denied the admin stay, the full SCOTUS woulda stepped in to override her.
-if she immediately referred the case to the full Court, they coulda dragged feet.
-instead she boxed them in to act quickly once she does refer the case.

It was Brown. Her alternatives were let the full court rule, which would be a slow process and likely end in the same result, or deny it and risk the full court over ruling her anyhow. Impossible position but this results in the quicker turnaround.

What's funny is that I have not in my adult life made a milkshake, while I feel like as a kid we made milkshakes....
I also don't ever have 4L buckets of ice cream in the house, so maybe that's a factor....

There must be some legal ramifications for not following or funding their own laws? Maybe an argument can be made that the law is fraudulent, since the government refuses to fund their part of if the process?
