I believe so. It felt like patriarchal appropriation of Ms Shelley's work. My understanding is that all Byron wrote as part of the Geneva diversion was a fragment of a vampire story based on Balkan legends. So save the Byron quote for the next time that forgotten fragment is turned into a film!!

Seems to be a quite shameful and cowardly betrayal of democracy and the people of the US by 8 Democrat Senators and Schumer. They let the fat fish off the hook.

Starmer seems to have zero political instincts. He should be applying maximum pressure via government procurement and contracts to force the company to pay the appropriate level of compensation NOW. It would be popular and absolutely the right thing to do

Another example of the pitiful weakness of Starmer's Labour. Gove oversaw the corrupt payment of £100's millions of public money to Tory chums and donors. We have Government procurement rules but Gove tore them up. He should be in court. We don't operate a corrupt Trump form of govt .....yet

....and bringing water companies back into public ownership, profit taxing energy companies, restricting overseas donations & interference in our politics, reversing policy on benefits and giving all benefit processing teams challenging but achieveable in payment time limits.
