And if that didn't help, here's a Daily Mail infographic that still makes me laugh

Not much in the way of surprise or development beyond set-up in Endeavour #1, even with the double length of a DSTLRY comic. (A Yellowjackets-style glimpse of whatʼs to come wouldʼve hooked me.)

But rich kids left on a recreated 18th century ship is a good starting point, and characters are decent

That is, if a synopsis like this doesnʼt put you off first

The Whales Of August in Shibuya. A cocktail bar where every drink is named after a movie. I did not want to leave!

My god, it was a mess. I think the clips came about after test screenings left people too confused by call-backs, but it isn't a pretty solution. Hereʼs a tweet that suggests McQ knows it stinks.

Barter Books remains unparalleled at bafflingly not having what you have in mind in its huge stocks, but having plenty of interesting things instead

Weird, I went there a few years back and it was free for anyone to go but the walk was pretty tough going in the heat. Had a great time in Bilbao generally - enjoy all those pintxos

Aw, Quinn, this sounds great! One of my favourite passages in any sci-fi novel is a Who deep cut, from Interference by Lawrence Miles. (And if you ever need a British voice to chip in…)

For anyone looking forward to the F1 British Grand Prix this weekend, please enjoy this brochure from the 1979 edition

The Netflix series looks stunning in 4K. But this...?

1. He always sings Baggy Trousers
2. He keeps referring to his friends “the nutty boys”
3. Seems embarrassed when buying condoms
4. Keeps offering vague directions to your house

I would strongly recommend using Firefox as your mobile browser (which blocks most tracking cookies as standard) with uBlock Origin (to eliminate the ads). It's made sites so much cleaner for me this past month.

You would never catch me complaining about being rammed by Charles Leclerc

But more importantly, I wonder if the deliberate evocation of Rowling as a villain is an apology, of sorts, for the way in which she was equated with the Bard in 2007ʼs The Shakespeare Code (itself written, under Davies, by another transphobe-to-be)

What a difference 20 years makes. While planning his first series of Doctor Who, RTD asked JK Rowling to write an episode.

Now, the fascist enforcing a heteronormative reality reads from a book modelled on her most famous creation

Interesting to see Freddie Fox in Doctor Who this week when we had his cousin Laurence on two weeks ago.

The Mousetrap! Shame that a throwaway gag in Private Eye spoiled whodunnit for me about 15 years ago, but still!

Absolutely no idea who to vote for next week (mayoral election) but I figured if Labour only try to appease the loudest voices I might as well email the local Labour candidate and say *something*

Not everybody knows every actorʼs name, but someone whose job is to know about the media should probably be able to spot one of the most bankable movie stars of his day (even in the context of low-grade gossip).

Or he did know but claimed ignorance to look cool on Twitter, which is possibly worse.
