The Bond article youʼre all going on about is such bollocks that I can only assume thereʼs some internal studio politics driving the story.

If maintaining continuity was a red line, IO Interactiveʼs upcoming game wouldnʼt be starting with a brand new young Bond, surely?

The rich guys of the Gilded Age were all assholes, but they all felt the need to at least pretend to be cultured and philanthropic (the existence of Carnegie Hall, for instance). These guys are all boobs who think it's funny when 14-year-old boys say slurs.

It was bad enough that Strictly Come Dancing (and others!) ruin the mystique of Gladiators by using their real names — if you get famous as Nitro, you stay Nitro — but to show Viper breaking character and being a nice guy?! Unthinkable!

Not to get too meta about it, but the producers have played it so perfectly by playing every clip of Alan laughing, looking guilty, what a beautifully constructed set-up for this ending. Masterful! #TheTraitors

This is making me feel substantially better about the quality of prose in a novel Iʼm trying to write, and substantially worse about the state of the UK
And here it is. The blurb on the back does not inspire confidence.

this is actually impressive, making up a brand new nobel peace prize replacement is a genuine innovation in bribery

If they will “never been the same”, how come it all feels so familiar that WB lawyers wouldnʼt hesitate to sue?
AI sitcom accidentally a Lynchian fever dream. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and insane lament.

DSTLRY is putting out lots of cool-looking stuff that I canʼt keep up with (financially) although given itʼs been nearly a year since the first issue of One For Sorrow they do give you time to get things off your to-read pile.

Endeavour was announced as launching in February, not October.
Not much in the way of surprise or development beyond set-up in Endeavour #1, even with the double length of a DSTLRY comic. (A Yellowjackets-style glimpse of whatʼs to come wouldʼve hooked me.)

But rich kids left on a recreated 18th century ship is a good starting point, and characters are decent

still thinking about this article today. so many societal ills are caused by people white-washing what actually happens. it's awful to see games do it too.

can't wait for cozy domestic violence simulator or cozy kkk simulator

Americans want to watch charismatic people solve moderately difficult problems on a weekly basis. That’s it. And a group of fomo execs and techbros who don’t watch TV drove one of the most profitable industries in the US off a cliff rather than accept that.
Look what happenes when a TV show releases every year, with more than 8 episodes a season.

A warning to anyone wanting to watch modern Treehouse of Horror episodes this October
I donʼt want to randomly dump on modern Simpsons… but this joke is so bad it sort of breaks my brain? Almost every word is completely wrong.

I don't know how many times to point out that is absolutely ghoulish and non-consensual and disgusting behavior.
To exploit the image of a dead woman who was also exploited in real life so you can live out your momentary fantasies of "what is possible" with AI is bad science journalism, also.
Sick.
