Finding the BBC News coverage of UK decision to recognise #Palestine state odd. They keep stating the UK has led on this with France and others following the UKs lead. France pushed the issue before the UK. Over 150 countries recognised Palestine BEFORE the UK. The UK has not led, it had followed.

This morning, my colleagues and I briefly visited the #Pentagon to mark a day that would change the lives of so many. We still live in the shadow of #911 a quarter of a century on. Reflecting in those who went to work like any other day but never came home to loved ones. Never forget.

Today marks the start of #ArmedForcesWeek. A chance to reflect on the fact that as George Orwell is attributed to have put it: "People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men [and women] stand ready to do violence on their behalf." Also thinking of #Ukrainian sacrifices.

The #Sourdough adventure continues. This mornings effort - wholegrain spelt - is result of an error in that i forgot to turn the over down from 240C to 210C when removing the Dutch oven lids. Also the first time I used the #KitchenAid to knead the dough instead of hand. Newborns require bandwidth

I genuinely find it extraordinary that these "business people" have taken a monopoly with a guaranteed and legally compulsory revenue stream (almost like a bond) and managed to still make a farce of it by running up debts while paying dividends. Admittedly much if this under Macquairie IIRC.

Hard to overstate the sheer impact #Trump has on trade alone. His two tenures in the White House represent a marked and historic spike in trade uncertainty each time.
