I find comments like this so confusing fallout 1 & 2 are RPGs pulling heavily (and directly) from tabletop energy weapons are more analogous 2 being a spellcaster in d&d ur probably gonna suck 4 a while but u get absurd rewards 4 deferring ur gratific8ion that's the entire point of them
