Observers will be expelled for “standing in the wrong place” — Until now, they could choose the best vantage point to monitor the process. Now, election officials will have the power to restrict their movement and expel them from polling stations if they don’t comply. 4/5

Voter identification checks have been restricted — Opposition election commission members and independent observers will no longer be able to verify whether a voter’s personal information matches the data in the official voter list. 3/5

With the new laws, independent observers are now banned from monitoring the verification device at polling station — This means there will be no way to verify who is voting and whose data the power usurpers are using to falsify elections. 2/5
