The world is coming to an end and I don’t even care, as long as I can have a limo and my orange hair.
Good to remind ourselves that judges perform their A-political duty for the most part. With exceptions.
The Judges are performing their constitutional duty & following the law. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same thing about the Justice Department in this regard.

Reality check
The war has put the union in European Union. Acting as one, its 27 member states gave refuge to millions of Ukrainians, and found weapons and money. Such co-operation is unlikely to last in peacetime
If the fighting ends in Ukraine, the infighting in Europe will begin
Beware Europe’s great de-galvanisation

Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund is looking to increase its investments in Japan to about $27 billion by the end of 2030 as the kingdom looks to deepen ties in Asia.

Let’s not. Ask anyone who lives with corruption on a daily basis…yes, it IS different in other countries and NO not “everyone does it” so stop excusing it! The America economy depends on its reputation as a non-corrupt nation. We DO have laws against it if this current DOJ enforces them!
"Last time I went after them, they gave me $16 Million Dollars. This one sounds even more lucrative.”

Bowing down to a bully never works.

And we can’t become numb to this corruption in plain sight.

Love it!
Can't believe I'm looking forward to a late night monologue but here we are.
Jimmy Kimmel is back on his late-night stage – and full of emotion.

Here's our first look inside tonight's taping, courtesy audience members who spoke with CNN afterward.

The standing ovation for Kimmel was so loud "it was ear damaging to be honest," one attendee said:

I believe Klein meant well… but was off base on this one
It should be self-evident now that @EzraKlein.bsky.social is an unreliable public thinker who serves only as the “white moderate, who is more devoted to 'order' than to justice” that MLK was so disappointed by.

The vaccine situation in the U.S. has become confusing and chaotic. Here are some of the most common vaccine questions we received from readers, answered by New York Times health and science reporters.

Russia can’t match Ukrainian courage and love of freedom! Americans, if they do this, we can show strength as well.
Good morning. Nobody 3.5 year ago ever imagined that not only would Russia NOT have air superiority over Ukraine, but that Ukraine would be able to bomb Russian targets in Russia almost without intercept. Russia is failing

Agree
Listening to President Clinton address the attendees at Clinton Global Initiative 2025, and you can hear a pin drop. It’s as though the audience is collectively remembering: “Oh, right, that’s what a president is supposed to sound like.”

Submit them!
That said, the record is still open on both hearings. So @durbin.senate.gov @raskin.house.gov and others can submit a whole slew of QFRs about why Kash allowed Homan get away with bribery.
A few Qs in this week's Kash hearings that ring differently know that we know Tom Homan took a bribe.

1) Kash was asked how many people triggered CI concerns in background checks. Homan investigation was a CI investigation.
2) Kash was asked WHY background checks were halted until he was confirmed.

Ok for the 100th time. Democrats need to instead be reminding America they have NO POWER and this is entirely on the GOP to fund govt. entirely.

If they need dem help then ok but there will be a cost.

Is anyone over there any good at messaging?
This must be a parody account, right? They’re demanding a meeting! Schumer and Jeffries. A meeting with Trump. That’s what they’re publicly ‘demanding.’

Another reminder of why they have got to go:

When do we get back to solving real problems in our Country?
Unhoused people told us they already feel like they’re seen as problems to be solved, not people to be helped.

In reporting on the issue, we wanted to help ProPublica’s readers recognize the humanity of the people we had met and talked to.

So true. And Farm collapses, too. Can’t blame immigrants any more.
Feels like we’re days away from the Republicans blaming the economy on trans kids. That’s all they have anymore.

I keep wondering. Farmers believe Trump understands business. He does. His business, not theirs. He’s making Billions.

Not Americas finest moment.
Trump has a rocky record on hosting leaders — how well did he do?

The president’s meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky was all sweetness and light, a far cry from their cringeworthy Oval Office confrontation in February
