Gotta Go Tee
@go-tee.bsky.social
Writer/artist of gluttonous misadventures.
And then there was the revival helmed by AdjectiveNounCombo and the original artist. They tried to bring back the storyteling, with some mighty mixed results, so this part is much more open to critique. Me? I can't help looking back fondly. New Lalia shenanigans in my subscription feed? Oh baby...

I think the fact that it was initially released as a 'real' webcomic gave it an air of legitimacy, even if the story fizzled out.

Honestly it's very rare any character in this community achieves this kind of popularity, so it just feels kinda shocking seeing genuine discussion or criticism like that.
And I'm not opposed to it! Just about every panel looked as good as this one, I think that kind of effort warrants it.

She's also known for having a long tongue she likes to show off to the viewer. I bring this up because now and then I've seen people convinced the artist was trolling the audience. Making her dumber, bigger, having her tongue out in every panel.
I don't think so? Most people liked that.

Her early shenanigans took some time before her eating became more than a hot quirk, so I think she was able to endear herself to an audience before giving into her hunger and becoming huge. It might be harder to appreciate her popularity without being there for the ride.

DO I HEAR SEVEN!?

My friends host a movie stream every weekend, and every week we will inevitably tear the film apart, if lovingly.
Star Wars and The Lion King are so far the only two films to get nothing but praise.

Externally, this was a step in the right direction. Now if the meny made me feel like I was piloting a spaceship we'd be in business. Even if I'm just bringing up Youtube.

I argue that's exactly how I want to feel. What's the point of perfecting VR if I don't want to live inside a computer anymore? Now is the time to release translucent phones with light-up Tron lines.

See, I understand why this stopped. We have computers more powerful than our old laptops in our pockets now. They don't have to tease us with what's going on in there, or make us feel like we're going to another dimension whenever we start something up.

"You punched me in the boob! Prepare to die, obviousy!"

I was just the right age to take Tooie's story much more seriously than intended, so the bosses all felt like terrifying monsters standing between me and saving the island. So it's kinda trippy seeing them all looking so bright and colorful.
Trippy, but welcome.

That slick sense of style is one thing, that catches my eye. The fact she's one half of the eternally unlucky Team Rocket of the series and STILL packing some crazy monster-making power does things to my brain.
Which if you've seen the show, may not be a good thing.
