Just found out #ABLeg has the only chamber in the country that displays all provincial and territorial flags — a gesture of national unity first adopted back when Quebec was considering separation.

VoteWell is sharing the 338 vote projection model, which is afaik is mostly based on historical results and national sentiment. There have been no yeg-centre polls. The projections also can swing wildly day to day over the course of an campaign. Note this +30% swing a day out from the last election:

Yeg-centre is one of the most competitive ridings in the country. With the new boundaries the NDP came within ~2% of winning the last election, and that was with significantly less organizing and facing down 2 previously elected MPs.

Door-knocking in -20 isn’t fun in the best of times, let alone when you’re not in election season. A quick audit of the riding’s sign breakdown proves how much this effort has been recognized and appreciated (note this doesn't get captured by 338 projections).

1. Policy Priorities
The Liberals are on track to win a majority despite not having sub 50% support from voters, allowing them to unilaterally enact policy. We only have youth dental coverage because the NDP were able to leverage the Liberal’s minority status to force them to negotiate.
