Sometimes RPGs are like board games would be if you had a significant number of players who said “I just can’t see the point of a game where you’re not trying to checkmate a king”

Other than some Marvel United minis and the GenCon Gundam Zakus, I haven't touched paints this year. I normally painted for GM prep, but I used tokens, candy, or Legos instead. I want to get that Reaper ghoulie bag, but I haven't touched my Bones 6 yet. It's so weird watching another hobby fade .

Working on a ticket in a hospital and their ambient playlist has How To Save A Life playing, so I half expect to see Dr. Cox now.

Remember: If we allow ourselves to fall into fatalism, or wallow in disappointment, or become resigned to what is rather than what should be, we will lose the long game.

The greatest enemy of positive social change is cynicism about what can be changed.

Just because GenCon is over doesn't mean that there's a lack of August convention prep to do. #starfinder

Skittermanders are visiting booth #203 for a little bit of mischief and to wish our intergalactic leader a stellar birthday here at Gen Con!

On the list of things I didn't expect to lookup: "best method of transporting wig in suitcase" and "how to keep wrinkles out of cloak." #gencon

I could really go for a pickup game of Cones Of Dunshire at GenCon.

Stayed up late to finish Act 1 last night. Followed it up with a Gestral Beach as a treat.

Printer Support told me that they would send me a mech kit. Not sure how that would fix paper jams, but I'm not going to turn down gunpla.

I've taught many people new to gamedev from kids to adult, from a practical educator lens I believe the main difference people credit to kids learning faster or easier than adults is they aren't yet consciously trying to avoid temporarily looking like a beginner at something

The oppressive kingdom existed longer than most living can remember. The inhabitants' futures were chosen for them before taking their first steps. Their ruler has long been absent. If the king could be sought out, then this autonomous way of life could end. These are the Candy Lands. #ttrpg

I've attended various gaming conventions since 2005, but Origins Game Fair 2019 may be my favorite one. It wasn't the funnest or most enjoyable, but it greatly impacted me in multiple ways on what community could mean.
