Soon, we'll oversee a budget of more than $100 billion — and every dollar will reflect our commitment to working New Yorkers and delivering universal childcare. Good thing some little New Yorkers gave me a counting lesson today!

Today in 1953, the Indiana school text book commission proposed banning the book “Robin Hood” for its communist implications. IU students organized the Green Feather Movement to protest book censorship. Lesson: rob from the rich and give to the poor. And read books!

This post is oddly triggering. People, we have been working for affordable healthcare for *so* long. The arc of the moral universe is long . . . so fucking long.
Republican politicians with gold standard healthcare telling Americans they don’t need affordable healthcare.

It is a dirty shame how Republicans have tried to get rid of it, with no replacement in sight. Ever! I will always be grateful for President Obama. He truly cared about America.
