Always look to see what the tech bros want for their own kids: small class sizes with human teachers, human tutors with expert content knowledge, cell phone restrictions in classrooms, high per pupil spending, the arts and humanities--and much more they say is too costly for public schools.

i am once again saying that if you allow polling to define rights, you don't have any real rights at all
the problem with the "trans sports participation is a loser / 80-20 issue" framing is that it ignores how it got that way. it didn't just happen out of nowhere. It's been a 5+ year campaign by Republicans to make it an 80-20 issue, and noone fought back.

Was feeling nostalgic, tried to install Minecraft. Apparently my account is invalid, because I didn't migrate it to a Microsoft account by 2023. Looks like people with stale enough accounts like mine received no warning emails this was happening. Pretty annoyed at this, prob more than I should be.

I find non-gamers struggle with realtime dual stick controls, but still tend to prefer something that feels AAA. Animal Crossing, Sims, Pokemon, and Mario Kart are all great first games. Tho the actual answer might be a mobile game, depending on what we mean by "like" 👀
If you could recommend ONE game to a non gamer to get them to like video games, what would you recommend? 👀

I find non-gamers struggle with realtime dual stick controls, but still tend to prefer something that feels AAA. Animal Crossing, Sims, Pokemon, and Mario Kart are all great first games. Tho the actual answer might be a mobile game, depending on what we mean by "like" 👀

Strong, standardized ventilation coulda been the next chapter in our infrastructure--the next smoke alarm, wheelchair ramp, or interstate freeway. In the end, it'd even cost less than letting everyone get sick so much. The fact that it was never on the table is just so tragic.
