Rum balls for the holiday cookie trays. These were made gluten free using Bacardi rum and Kinnikinnick gf vanilla wafers. The recipe makes 16.

The cookie baking continued with some gf Peanut Butter Blossoms topped with Hershey's Kisses ❤️. For dinner we had bowls of Mexican Chicken soup made following a recipe from Ina Garten. The soup was delicious but very mild if you are looking for spicy.

The cookie baking continued with some gf Peanut Butter Blossoms topped with Hershey's Kisses ❤️. For dinner we had bowls of Mexican Chicken soup made following a recipe from Ina Garten. The soup was delicious but very mild if you are looking for spicy.

I am happy with this arrangement I put together today. I dehydrated the orange slices in my air fryer, on the dehydrator setting I just noticed it had.

Sunday Soup. Homemade tomato soup made in my high speed blender with roasted tomatoes, onion, garlic, thyme, chicken broth, and a splash of cream. Alongside, pear slices and a gf baguette stuffed with spinach dip that was chilled and sliced.

With the exception of some turkey slices and gravy that were put in the freezer Thurs. night Thanksgiving leftovers are gone. Tonight a layered casserole for dinner finished off what was left. Start with dressing, end with potatoes & gravy and everything else between

I had to laugh this morning. My husband and I worked in our yard yesterday while the dogs supervised. I woke up to Emma's chew toy carrot "planted" in one of the containers I had emptied. She is such a garden helper.

I made a new recipe for a Crock-Pot Lobster Bisque. I "zhuzed it up" with some tomato sauce and a splash of Sherry. It needed the tomato sauce for a bit of pink as I am not fond visually of white soups. Delicious.

Not sure we (Mac and his humans) could survive Oregon's rainy season without a stack of dry towels and these 2 items. The brush emits a cool mist that helps clean and releases his hair in that nice pile. The other is a paw cleaner that fills with water and cleans (1/2)
