Once Kalua is in his older 20s and is actually involved with Betti, a surefire way to really get his goat is to diminish or threaten Betti in anyway. Betti, who's 9' tall former member of the assassin's guild that can handle himself... Kal's love knows no bounds ❤️

Headline: Director of Philadelphia Art Museum Is Dismissed After Unpopular Rebranding The Philadelphia Art Museum's board of trustees dismissed its director and chief executive Tuesday morning in an email that stated she was being terminated for cause. Sasha Suda, 45, was just three years into her five-year contract at the museum. She recently oversaw an effort to subtly rebrand the institution as the Philadelphia Art Museum, from the Philadelphia Museum of Art - its name since 1938. While some had praised the campaign, it largely failed to gain traction in Philadelphia, where locals started to mockingly refer to the 149-year-old institution as "PhArt," instead of its suggested nickname, "PhAM."

I couldn't do this with 300 characters today. But yes, Loke was very unhappy and dumped boiling water on him the next day. :) she doesn't appreciate being stripped down without consent (Although she *did* rationally agree he did the right thing)

“You’ve got to be kidding…” Magnar mumbled under his breath and announced that he was going to open the door. He cracked the door and peeked in, seeing her on the floor, unconscious with water flowing from the wall over her body. “Blu, grab me a blanket!” Magnar ran in, flipped the lever on the wall for water and as Blu came in with a blanket, wrapped Loke in it and carried her out. “She’s going to hate me for this later, but there’s no choice.” Magnar was mostly talking to himself as he got her out of her clothes from the ritual and into something he could get on her easily, but all he had at hand was one of his shirts. At least it was big enough to keep her well covered. He dried her off and got her dressed and put her to bed.

apparently it's another aurora day in places it really shouldn't be.... it's faint and camera only (and neighbor 2 houses down now has some too bright lights, ugh)
faint green aurora just over trees in a residential neighborhood with electric wires across the middle and some streetlights that take away from how nice the aurora should look

Kalua is performing the 4 movement piano piece he wrote that's stupidly complex because, Kal. Magnar and Asta could join him on violin. Loke is not allowed to play anything, but she'll be permitted to dance.

Kalua plans so much and so far ahead and for as many issues as possible. He'll try to put as much as possible into routine and schedules, so nothing ever gets missed - inc. "time" with his husband, because he's ace but willing to appease his hubby's needs once in a while

Loke isn't the fastest to forgive (that's Magnar), but she is too idealistic and optimistic that sometimes she needs others to remind her that maybe some retribution is a good thing. But when she finds the killers of her parents, a bit after book 1, there was no mercy from her there. #WritingPrompt

Kalua HATES surprises. Hates them a lot. Even good ones frustrate him. He craves order and has certain expectations. Surprises are things he didn't plan and though he is usually adaptable, he still doesn't like it. His current tale is a big, unwelcome one

Kal would clean your house but reorganize everything in a completely different way. delayed terror. Mahoe would throw a party and it would be a hot disaster until Mahana made him clean it. Loke would just leave a trail of all of your books behind.

When Loke finds her alternate "space" (the term I use spoils book 1), it's an entire black room with details drawn in chalk.
also, in book 1, when they go to find the spirit of darkness, there's a lot of black surrounding that particular event.

Loke knew their window was closing quickly and found that it was a little easier to maneuver as everyone was bowing their heads to pray but any movement she was trying to make was instantly stopped with Magnar’s hand pushing her head downwards.

They all hate it. Loke and Magnar sneak away from them. Kalua sucks it up and deals with it despite being hounded by noblewomen for his hand or noblemen trying to gain his favor. he hates it. Mahoe is too pretty and gets ALL the attention he doesn't want

we have a lot of blinding white light XD in later books the "White space" in the god realm is a distinct location where there is absolutely nothing but white. No walls, no floors, just... white

Most of my characters aren't particularly fond of it, but understand that sometimes it's necessary. Magnar offs a few in chapter 1 and Loke shrugs it off, saying it was self defense.

Loke's eyes. Mahoe and Mahana's eyes. In Holom, during the current monarch's reign, dark purple is the uniform color of the castle staff, so that's what Ikal is usually seen wearing. I think yatil's hair is also purple if I remember correctly. She's book 2+

Kal would definitely be the fanciest cat. He's pretentious and needy though knows just the right buttons to push to get under someone's skin. Or how to be be cute for attention from his person. He's also obsessed with personal grooming.

Equipped with warmer clothes and additional supplies, the group set off on the trail behind the village and up into the mountain. They were seen off by the innkeepers that wished them luck and for their god to watch over them.

I have a party of 8. Loke and Magnar are the core characters, but the 8 will travel and sidequest together the whole story, at least, once they're introduced. Book 3ish has 2 parties, one has 7 and the other has... i'm not even sure. it's a lot

Green! Loke's hair is mint green! And so is her soul! Palen also wears fancy dark green clothes and Magnar has green eyes, but Loke's hair is by far the one thing that's pointed out several times.
