PTO granted. Clerical collar back on. First time presiding and preaching in 7 months after retiring. Oh how much have I missed this.

Dilemma. Priest didn't turn up for midweek mass. I'm not seeing bishop for PTO for 3 more weeks. All other checks done. Wwyd? In the end we said morning prayer together. So frustrating. Not said mass for 6 months #CofE early retired obedience

First Holy week in limbo after retiring but not yet with PTO. Thought I would be a bit lost without a community to belong to. But everything I've attended has been life affirming and lovely to hear someone else sing the exultet.Christ is still risen. And I need to write a longer reflection #CofE

Deep sigh. More than a senior moment. For 3 weeks have been saying I need to go to opticians as my eye sight is getting worse only to realise I've been wearing my old scratched glasses all that time. Doh
