Oh right, just remembered this bit from the start of Unital Ring. Star King (a copy of Kirito's soul made before wiping 200 years worth of memories) refers to Kirito as "him" in quotes, but, like, why the quotes? They feel unnecessary here. Star King, what did you realize in those 200 years?

Adding to the above, we have these interesting bits from Progressive. By this logic, the Silverthread Armor would be harder to compress due to its metal breastplate, and I doubt Kirito had the Expansion skill, given how many known skills she had. She was either gonna use this or had used it before.

I also just wanna point to this bit in volume 2. Kirito, what do you mean this was "leftovers". You came here on a mission, so this isn't just random loot you haven't sold yet, and you didn't know about Silica, so this wasn't prepared specifically for her. Were you wearing this when you were alone?
