Honestly I'm flabbergasted that someone had two articles published this week where both articles were founded upon poor assumptions.

Remember that time Metrolinx "leaked" the Finch West LRT opening date in one of their upcoming Board meeting reports and then deleted said report?

Oh wait, that was tonight.

The shutdown process of Rogers' 3G network is an absolute disaster. People across different providers that use Roger's infrastructure are being told inaccurate things, resulting in unnecessary provider changes and additional charges.

Anyone affected, reach out to the CCTS.

I'm surprised with all the protests out there isn't one for all these unnecessary Return to Office orders by employers.

Considering the commuting costs, increasing traffic and contempt for people's personal time, I thought this would be a cause the labour movement would take up.

I mentioned this on Instagram way back and my comments on here were dismissed as being incredulous (despite having a conversation of the then PM involved at the time).

It might be 2 years late but this appears to confirms everything I was told back then.

Jesus Christ.

A standing ovation — from Liberals too — for Charlie Kirk in the Canadian House of Commons.

You can (and should) oppose political violence without doing all this, you know.

Elon Musk and several of the largest accounts on Twitter are doing everything they possibly can in this moment to focus the violent retribution people are braying for right now towards trans people.

It is IMPERATIVE to be loud ally right now and defend the trans community with our whole chest.

One thing that kinda blows my mind:

I spoke to national French-language media all morning about this. I did three separate interviews before 10am.

I was interviewed for the U.S. publication WIRED about it.

But English-language Canadian media? Crickets.

It’s just so odd!
Hi. I’m Rachel.

My name is first on the website the North American far-right is using to target people they say “celebrated” Charlie Kirk’s death.

There’s just one problem: I never did that.

But the people sending me threats don’t seem to care.

Let me tell you, in my own words, what happened:

✏️ Happy Labor Day! 🖌️

Did you know that AI “art” is labor theft?

Hi. I’m a professional traditional artist of over 15 years & I was able to make a decent living until 3 years ago.

In May 2023, over 50 of my paintings had been scraped without my consent to fuel AI image generators like Midjourney.

I keep hearing that the GO Midtown line will be awesome and will do everything and will be the best. Meanwhile TTC Line 1 is just 1 kilometer south and a steep incline 500 meters north acts like a barrier for development.

I think its a no-brainer where this money should be spent.

It's really hard to fight the instinct to vote strategically...

Then you realize:
- Conservatives will never do that.
- Liberals are much less likely to vote strategically.
- The only persuadable voters left are the indifferent (who aren't looking it up) and the other parties.

The local Bell sales people have been unleashed in the neighborhood to sell their crappy bundles and service.

You'd think a company with $24 billion wouldn't need canvassers to sell their plans.

In the past 2 hours of watching CBC on TV I saw 6 Conservative ads.

For some odd reason they're also using a small audio cut of @thedailyshow.com's Jon Stewart calling @mark-carney.bsky.social "sneaky". Amateurish, awkward and overdone IMO.

Some Dems voting to censure Sen. Al Green for his protest on Tuesday is pathetic. Meanwhile in Ontario we've seen half of the opposition banging on desks and yelling to disrupt proceedings as a form of protest.

Maybe the rest of the US Democrats should've tried that instead of playing ping pong.
