For over a week now, this fluffy fella has been coming to me several times each day for food and cuddles. He's getting used to just strolling in the open porch door, finding me and making his demand. Especially for breakfast 😺😸

My 4th Hidden Harvest was this evening. Grapes. Beautiful concord grapes. I plan to make grape jelly. This is what 46lbs of grapes looks like.

Today I only managed 17.3km before losing energy. It's one of my favourite routes though... no ice cream. IC rides must be 20+km.

Finally!!! My first Canna Lily flower. There are 13 plants that grew up from 4 bulbs planted in May. And I'm hoping for more blooms before it gets too cold 🙏

Crickets... 1000s of them in the tall grass and weeds under the approach to the M-C Bridge. Along the walk to the fireworks.

Last night I enjoyed a trip to the Bytowne to spend nearly 1½ hours laughing at cat videos. The Ottawa Cat Rescue did roaring business too... they are the beneficiaries of the proceeds.

Last night I enjoyed a trip to the Bytowne to spend nearly 1½ hours laughing at cat videos. The Ottawa Cat Rescue did roaring business too... they are the beneficiaries of the proceeds.

Yesterday I had an MRI appointment in Gatineau. Was happy the AQHI was down to 1. So I biked the 11.8km. The route home took me to Chocolats Favoris Had a bébé size ice cream doused in dark chocolate sauce, dried raspberries and raspberry sauce. Sorry, no before pic. It was to die for 😋😊🥰

Over 1,700 Canadian children are diagnosed with cancer every year. 4 die every week.
Kids should be living life, NOT fighting for it.
Please donate to end childhood cancer and save little lives.

Our Sunset walk last night was to Kìwekì Point. There was a thick haze to the north and west.
Over the new Pìdàban pedestrian bridge from Kìwekì to Major's Hill Park, to the Château and back, then headed for home along Murray where a stop for gelato was enjoyed. A gorgeous summer evening.

Thursday went swimming with a friend at The Pond (IYKYK) and had a great time. It was very crowded. No photos (privacy). First time my bare legs have been seen in public in 6 years.

Wednesday's bike ride... a short 13.5km. But... photos of the Waterworks and whitewater race course. I didn't expect it to still exist. Looked like a whittewater rescue course was underway.
