this is clearly not the case here, but at the start of ww2 soviets attacked Poland, 17 days after nazis did. so there were people defending their home from soviets who weren't nazis or nazi aligned

and when it comes to the ones that just happened, its definitely not amazing, but its nice to see Die Linke back from dead

but it definitely wasn't all downhill in the world. its just the time when both in my country and in US right wing took power and made bad things happen
