It wasn’t technically SeaQuest DSV for that third season. They renamed it SeaQuest 2032. The most important part of season 3 is that they stopped forcing that poor oceanographer guy to cut in over the end credits to talk about the increasingly tenuous scientific basis of each episode.

Oh wow!! I went in with the filibustering stuff I remembered from college but never went back around and dove into the specifics he was dealing with. Been talking about rewatching it lately (so many of my friends haven’t seen it yet) so I should probably bone up beforehand!
