Like a month or so ago the company i work for put out a statement that theyre rolling back their DEI initiatives because of the changing legal landscape. Then had the audacity to say it's not their place to comment on politics. But they haven't taken their shitty stance publicly yet afaik

(Of course I am at the Very beginning of this process still; I haven't decided on Where to sell things online and I'm still working out pricing, but I really enjoyed doing a renfaire-themed trading event even if I didn't make money at it, so!)

My main guiding principle for not like. Ruining this for me is that if anything stops being fun/feels like an obligation that i'm frustrated with, I will just put it down (if it's a project) or find a way to minimize it (if it's some business aspect). I only make things i Want to make

I've got some complicated feelings about monetizing my hobby but also, I don't necessarily want to keep everything I make; it makes me happy to see others get excited about my pieces and wear them!
