Here’s Karine Polwart singing Hamish Henderson’s “Freedom Come-All-Ye” in the Italian Chapel, Orkney. The chapel was built & decorated by Italian POWs during WW2 using scraps & reclaimed materials, & is still in use today

Bimodal reaction I fear, with more scornful than appreciative. My own attempts at pedagogic whimsy always fell flat e.g. sorting lists of fruit names that began with p. E.g. 3 things to do with a 3x3 grid of graphical buttons: calculator, noughts and crosses, sliding blocks puzzle...

In Asterix in Britain, are the people they meet identified as ABs or just Bs? For a French audience of course, differentiating Gauls (or Celts?) from us lot across Le Manche. For reasins I find baffling, its one we don't have. That's a jolly little boat... My pilum is stronger than your sternum...
