Not enough credit is going to Jeff Lemiere and Chris Condon for how good JSA and Green Arrow are right now. They have such clear voices and directions. I feel like GA has been in a 'rebuilding' phase since New 52, or maybe Archer's Quest. Its now the book I've always thought it was.

Not enough credit is going to Jeff Lemiere and Chris Condon for how good JSA and Green Arrow are right now. They have such clear voices and directions. I feel like GA has been in a 'rebuilding' phase since New 52, or maybe Archer's Quest. Its now the book I've always thought it was.
As a comic book person, it’s baffling to me that there’s a Star Dodger named Freddy Freeman, but there’s no captain marvel/ Shazam signs, memes or a nickname. Nothing.

The only evidence I have that Kirby intended his name to be pronounced Dark “seed” is that in one issue, Orion fights a member of the Deep Six named “Shark-seed” and it’s the only thing that could possibly be referencing.
