When I posted on instagram about type design, someone asked, "What is it they want out of a typeface that the existing ones don’t produce?"
Having been in Wales a lot recently 😍 Cymru Sans came to mind…

This is a sample card for the Cymru Sans Light typeface, designed in 2015 for use on the VisitWales website. I can't replicate the glyphs here, but there are several digraphs/ligatures that don't exist in English, e.g. (LL, DD, CH)

Just remembered this, from an old BBC Genome post. Still one of my favourite things ever. Tony Hart teaches you how to draw a cat, and drives himself into a fit of the giggles. Every time I look at this, the sun seems to come out.

Still working my way through Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I reached that certain point in season 5 I was dreading. The episode 'The Body'. It's an emotional enough episode as it is but given circumstances not sure whether watching it is a good or a bad thing.
