Unfortunately there are some people who won't tag stuff no matter how often they are asked to. Have you tried muting the people who do it that might help?

Do you not have adult content hidden? Under the moderation settings you can show, hide or warn. I have mine set to warn & everything NSFW is hidden behind a warning. That might help curate your feed more.

I suspect they are a fraudster & didn't have the talent to make the change hence the account deletion. This is only a suspicion of course but someone who has the skill to make art should have zero issue with changing hair color.

I'm pretty sure you should be able to get refunded from PayPal, I think they have a six month to a year type of thing for professional transactions. It sucks that the artist did this, it really just taints the fragile trust of the commissioning process. I'm sorry you are dealing with this🫂

Patreon, some modders for BG3 have started posting mods on there. Since most mods are made using game assets, they aren't monetized you just need to join the creator's page for free. Sometimes there are exclusives if you are in a discord or if you pay, but its mostly free.

It's hard to avoid the big companies here in the US, they own practically everything & local options aren't always available, especially in rural areas. I usually try to limit my spending to the essentials & I choose the lesser of two evils if I can't find an ethical company.
