(I do understand this is how advertising works, I am not completely naive, and appreciate the move to encourage younger people to read more classics). That being said, I am also struck by the fact that they apparently needed three practically identical title pages.

Picked up a copy of Carmilla this week and was reminded of a video I watched recently about the influence Booktok has on marketing (particularly the new Austen covers) and it's interesting to be able to see how advertising for Carmilla has changed from 2020 (right) to now.
