Where is the DNC: Project 2029? Where is the counter programing? Where is the messaging?

Stop with the KCCO bullshit. Show us an alternative. Even if it's 4years away. Show that the opposition party has a plan.

No way this gets 60 votes in the senate. That doesn't mean it won't be a power grab situation though, but at least that will have judicial jeopardy for the administration.

The self proclaimed transparent administration, doesn't like fir companies to be transparent?

Total abuse of a power that isn't constitutionaly given to the executive.

Unfortunately excellent will always be the enemy of the good in the same stroke as confidence brews complacency.

By the next election and deff the one after this, these communities wilm have forgotten. But it's not like the DEM messaging was catered to them. Dems fell flat on their face.

I'd like to think this would be a bridge too far for anyone in congress and force them to act.... But I know better.
Stephen Miller says they are “actively looking at” suspending the writ of habeas corpus, which is only allowed when the US has been invaded or during an insurrection, which would not allow people to challenge their incarceration in court if they are arrested and detained.

The ineptitude.

This is why we should be reading more and learning, not removing books because it makes us rethink our place in this world.
Reporter: The president fired the Librarian of Congress. Why?

Leavitt: There were quite concerning things she had done at the Library of Congress in the pursuit of DEI and putting inappropriate books in the library for children.

Until SCOTUS abandons stare decisis and interprets the constitution differently, the current interpretation stipulates all PERSONS, regardless of citizenship, within the United States are guaranteed due process. Violating this is illegal.
A hill I’ll keep dying on: Whatever your politics, the fact that so many U.S. leaders do not understand basic constitutional law—or willfully distort it—reflects extremely poorly on our country.

This will be our downfall. This is the final nail. I can't believe the war on logic and science that has been perpetrated by the GOP at all levels. To have it culminate in this way is just sickening.
Exclusive: National Science Foundation staff were told today that the agency’s 37 divisions—across all eight directorates—are being abolished and the number of programs within those divisions will be drastically reduced.

Wasting money by cutting programs... That's the Dog-E way.
Brilliant to eliminate Energy Star, a program that costs $32m but delivered $40b in annual savings. None other than the US chamber of commerce tried to save it as a model of business/government partnership. www.nytimes.com/2025/05/06/c...

Linda probably didn't write this letter herself, but it deff shows the level of refinement that has been lacking from the start. First the "accidental notice" that sparked this stand off, to this. Failure from the start.

Art dictated by the government isn't art, it's propaganda.
