Lethality for this #YellowFever outbreak remains high (~40%) as already seen in Colombia. #PAHO declared the risk as high because of wide geographical spread (also to non endemic areas) and low vaccine coverage. Surveillance, Vaccination and Communication are much needed for an effective response.
🦟 #YellowFever in #Brazil 🇧🇷: "The Brazil Ministry of Health @minsaude.bsky.social has reported 115 confirmed human YF cases in 4 states until 16 June: Sao Paulo, Pará, Minas Gerais and Tocantins. In addition, 45 deaths were reported, (~40%)". #FebreAmarela
