Hey Dems—please “politicize” the tragic flooding in Texas. People need to understand that gutting “waste” at FEMA and the National Weather Service caused unnecessary deaths and will cause more in the future. Politics isnt a game—it’s a matter of life and death.

For generations, if you came on a visa and applied for asylum, you would generally not be arrested even if your visa expired during the process. That’s over now. They’re arresting everyone, even people who have done legitimately nothing wrong.

Lots just happened at once. Group of ICE agents just pushed past protestors, shoving some people - incl. Ald. Quezada - to the ground, in order to escort multiple people into vans, which then drove off. "It's the worst. It's devastating," Quezada says.
