This may be controversial: but a win streak of ko'ing/ tko'ing Volk and Max Holloway? Doing that to 2 people who have been argued to be the division's goat? I'm sorry, but that was too much of an insane year to not make Ilia Topuria fighter of the year.

Legit need to at least watch this part of the podcast because there are contenders. But top to bottom, it's hard to beat ufc 300.
