Del Toro was the perfect director for this. Gorgeous, somber, elegant. Isaac is fantastic but it’s Elordi who’s a revelation. Buried beneath makeup and still the beating heart of the film. Sensational performance.

Absolute legend. Watch Ran, Yojimbo or Haraki

What could’ve been a banger is brought down by bad editing and JLo sucking the energy out of every scene. Brutal Staham/Bernhardt fight is choppily edited to boot.

Fairly generic thriller slightly elevated by a solid Statham performance and two badass fight scenes and a scene stealing turn by Tucci.

Diving in to one I missed till now. Love this franchise so much.

A surprisingly
Solid action thriller. Solid cast. Kinda cliched but Statham rules as always. He’s a beast and got some great chemistry with his film daughter. Too many characters and a kinda jumbled plot.

Ritchie’s Masterpiece. He dumps his usual quick cuts and tone for a brutal, lean and dark fucking movie. Statham is at his best as the one man revenge army. Eastwood finally shows his skill. Phenomenal mood setting score a the best action Guy’s done. Third act is mesmerizing.

Better than the last two at least but honestly Johansson and Bailey Dave it with their chemistry. Feels very formulaic and kinda boring in parts. Lots of been there seen this already.

Photo mode. For some reason both Tsushima and Yotei just clicked for me. I fall down a rabbit hole with this mode. My four favorite shots I created.

After 57 hrs I have rolled credits on Ghost of Yotei. Thank you SuckerPunchfor crafting a game that somehow surpassed the masterpiece that was Tsushima. A brutal, yet beautiful story and game that now will be one of my favorite of all time. A masterpiece in every way.

Decent if overstuffed sequel. Smulders is a great addition who handles the action very well but generic bad guys and a scattershot mystery kinda home this one back a bit. Still solid. Shame Cruise didn’t get a third.

We’ve been spoiled by Ritchson yes, but physicality aside Cruise really nails the character.
Solid action, tight script. Honestly underrated.

One of my favorite films ever. Brandon’s charisma and natural talent shine through tragic circumstances. Beautifully shot, gothic action romance revenge film. Great supporting cast. Incredible soundtrack.

Introducing Ash to an absolute classic.

May be a hot take but I’ve never been the hugest fan of this one. Harlin directs the fuck out of it but it’s kinda slow. Villains are so over the top and one note minus Lithgow of course who’s chewing scenery like it’s a job. Gorgeous cinematography and camera work though.

Classic Ritchie. Doesn’t break the mold but it’s got his rabid fire editing and dialogue. Gets dark like all Ritchie crime flicks and the cast is great.

I love this big dumb ass movie. Falls into the “so bad it’s good” category by just being cheesy, loud and fun as hell.

Well this was fucking delightful. Moves at a super brisk pace. Great effects especially with Surfer. The core cast nails the family aspect I was hoping for with Kirby being the absolute standout and emotional core. Family, hope and community. All messages we need especially now.
