This is the first time in my life I've seen a full-scale coup on American soil. I haven't watched this yet, but the time for decorum is long gone. The fact that the text says "tantrum" let's me know it's likely a garbage take, though. To sit quietly in the room with an ersatz dictator is wild.

I don't expect them to do all the heavy lifting, but showing some collective fucking spine and creative resistance while we still have some protections would be nice.

The fact that dems aren't in a perpetual sit-in or throwing punches during a literal coup is telling. FFS DO SOMETHING.
