There's 3k+ firefighters deployed to the Eaton fire, many literally camping outside the rosebowl off shift. They've requested: Energy drinks, chapstick, baby wipes, gum, candy & fresh fruit. You can drop off at Fire Station 34 in Pasadena and they will distribute.

Evacced from Eaton fire 330 this morning. Our place was recommended evac a few hours later but was literally smokey inside before then. No way we could have waited. Indoor PM2.5 levels were already "very unhealthy" at the point we left. Moved up to hazardous shortly after. 9 cats in a car was "fun"

My place is _now_ in a recommended evac zone, but 12 hours before it got recommended my entire house smelled like a campfire. We got out at 3:30am just before air quality spiked _indoors_ to hazardous levels.

I guess after last weeks layoffs, even Curiosity has decided to bail.

Last night I watched LAFC win at home, tonight watched Angel city come back to tie and also got to meet @nikigrayson.com , then immediately watched the dodgers close out the Mets. Not a terrible weekend.
