Having Johnson & Cummings in Downing Street when Covid struck was, just like Brexit, an entirely avoidable disaster caused largely by utterly appalling journalism. And now exactly the same clowns, arses & bigots with bylines are rolling out the red carpet for Farage.

This wife talking about her husband becoming radicalised by Farage and those like him really is quite extraordinary in its heartbreaking understatement.

Reform press conferences on what it might do were it to win an election four years from now shouldn't be getting more media coverage than concrete policy announcements from Britain's actual government

The “press conference that could’ve been an email.” Farage’s “Britain's refuk plan” is just a Tory manifesto on crack - endless austerity, gutted services, rich cushioned, poor punished, planet trashed, crypto scams and Trump worship. Chaos, corruption, and cheap slogans. #ukpolitics

In the all-conquering media/politics ecosystem that brought you Brexit, Boris Johnson, austerity, Liz Truss & the recent revival of weapons grade racism, she really is the Newcomer of the Year. Hands down. And the Spectator is now owned by a man who basked in the ugliest depths of far right Twitter.
Lam took a bunch of X posts from far-right racists and so-called "thinktanks" and turned them into a policy that collapsed as soon as anyone actually read it/understood it.

Would have been an absolute travesty if she hadn't won!

In my view, Mason and Rigby should not be shouting nonsense at a PM as he gets into a car, which they know he won't answer. Leave that to junior reporters. They should be in a studio, focussed, notes made, thoughts gathered, so they can speak with substance (doubt Mason can tbh), not provide filler.

I’m old enough to remember when an MP saying something so abhorrent would have quickly led to them being fired by their Party or forced to resign..

But hey.. it’s Reforn so she’ll get a standing ovation 🤷🏼‍♂️😡

In two years before Starmer we had 3 PMs, 4 Chancellors, 3 Foreign Secretaries, 5 Home Secretaries, 5 Education Secretaries, 5 Cabinet Secretaries, etc. - total 221 ministerial departures.

Maybe Beth is on a diet.

If you are watching the Reform Party controlled Councils with their endless mishaps, resignations, fallouts, scandals, mismanagement and sheer comedic idiocy, but still thinking of making these clowns a national government, representing the UK on the global stage, you are literally insane.
