⚓️ One of my go-to books on why we have few sub-Boomers in churches is “Almost Christian” by Kenda Creasy Dean. But it and the research it’s based on are now over 15 years old. If I were to have a parish book read on this topic anything newer that is both rigorously researched, mainline & readable ?

On retreat. Near the retreat center is Adobe Creek, and my director tells me it’s the creek that Adobe Software is named after - makes sense, because I’m on the edge of Silicon Valley.
The creek is low to dry. I guess someone forgot to pay the $59.99/month to keep it flowing.

Truly amazing that any time the democrats have to bite the bullet and do something that ruins countless lives, there's always *just* enough votes to get it done, but if there is a vote on something that would actually improve people's lives, they are always one vote short. Crazy how that happens.
