I feel like the Nier raids are the first time most players really come across some difficult mechanics. There are some in the Ivalice ARs, but Nier? Basically the whole thing. Think I ran each Nier raid 20x before I stopped dying. It still happens here and there, but those are outliers now.

FFT is great. But I think "Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together" (or its remaster "Reborn") is just slightly better. But it doesn't get nearly as much of a look.

If you haven't played it, highly recommend giving it a try after FFT!

I'm furloughed, so I'm doing exactly that: Playing Chrono Trigger all day.

Should note that we're not casual gamers. I can kinda give it to the casuals, who don't stay on top of gaming news.

But we do. We should know better. We've talked about this many times, studios acting poorly.

Yet here we are once again. Wondering why this won't change.

I should note that I'm saving the notes in cloud storage. We'll see how it goes accessing these once I install Obsidian on another computer.

Relatedly, I like how it saves individual notes as .md files.

At my office building in DC the other day, there must've been hundreds swarming one of the doors. And I've seen recent videos on reddit of basically the same thing in other parts of NoVA. I've only been here for a year. I went from seeing one or none to seeing hundreds literally overnight.
