Spurs won last night in DC. Since moving Tre Jones to the PG spot, the Spurs are 3-6 which doesn't sound like much, but consider they were 5-28 in the other games and that suddenly looks miraculous.

Tre Jones needs to start. In the 11 minutes where Tre plays with Wemby at C and Vassell, Keldon, and Sochan play 2-4, they have an absurd 57.0 NetRtg. Their three best 5-man lineups all have Tre and Wemby in them.

Point 2: Tre Jones is a flawed player, but the Spurs are so much better when he's on the floor. He's a limited shooter from 3, and he doesn't have the size to hang defensively. But my word, these on-off numbers are astounding. His playmaking is what makes this team make sense.
