My least favourite horror trope is "the christian paradigm actually works" with no twists. I can't shake the feeling that I'm being fed bigoted propaganda.

My favorite horror trope -- when the story is built like a puzzle and the final piece turns everything upside down. I love it when an author offers the reader a game of attentiveness and drops hints.
