Smart-arse.
Comic book legends like Jack Kirby, John Byrne, Mark Waid, Jonathan Hickman and now Ryan North have written a litany of interesting and entertaining tales featuring these characters over the decades.

If adapted, many of them could prove to be fun films. Why is that so difficult to believe?

A clever British man. A benevolent American gifted with great strength, the ability to leap over buildings and laser vision. A small lustful Italian man.
The list goes on.

If I were to make a guess, I'd say it was greenlit because of Michael Gracey's other success with musicals and people's willingness to trust his eccentric ideas , Robbie Williams' fame and also the fact that it's shockingly good

Not to intrude on your business but I think it'd be great if you could elaborate on what exactly Mignola and co. stole from your private posts.
