Maybe they should agree to the subsidy in return for shares in the smelter. You want 10 years worth of $50M/year subsidy? cool, we will own $500M of your business at the end of it

My issue with adding fluoride to the water is its another patch on a symptom. Not fixing the cause. We need to lower the amount of sugar in our foods. I also think that we would be far better spending that money on funding preventative dental care and treatments. Lawns don't need floride.
