The worst person you knew in a hobby circles inevitably becomes the person who sells equipment for the hobby because it’s the only way anyone will interact with them.

Having grown up there I agree and I hate that this whole vibe reflects expectations of the city to this day.

I mean going “Ha! Ha ha ha!!! Heh. Ugh we’re fucked, aren’t we?” has been the default response to a lot of things over the last 8 years

Realtalk I was thinking of building this. Just a webcam pointed at the bottom of a dice tower and a conveyor belt constantly feeding dice into it. Maybe some machine learning to read the dice and blacking out the feed until a button is pushed so you can’t fudge rolls.

I support this idea because it's already how I treat these things and get furious that no one else does.
